Welcome to the People of Sacramento CD-ROM. Please familiarize yourself with the software by participating in a scavenger hunt.

1. Enter "the building." List three choices of where you could go from here.

 

 

 

2. What door would you click on to learn about the cultural traditions of Jewish immigrants?

 

3. What color book would you choose to find information on Croatian immigrants?

 

4. Find a photograph of an ancestor who could have immigrated from Asia. Give the image number and tell what the person is doing in the photo.

 

5. Where can you find images of three types of transportation? Name each mode of transportation and give the image numbers.

 

6. Find three images that could represent a family or community celebration. Give the image numbers and a brief description of each event.

 

7. Imagine that you have just written a report on the rivers of California. Choose a picture for the cover of your report and give the image number.

 

8. Find an image of Native Americans in traditional dress. Give the image number.

 

9. Find a photograph of a sports team. Name the team and give the date the photo was taken.

 

10. Find images of three different occupations. Describe the jobs and give the image numbers.

 

11. Find two images that show advancement in technology. Give the image numbers, tell which photo is the most recent, and list the search fields you used to find the images.

 

12. Create your own "People of Sacramento Scavenger Hunt" question. On the back of this page, write the image number where the answer will be found.
